XeteX Air-To-Air Heat Exchangers

XeteX is intent on providing the most cost-effective air-to-air heat exchangers available today. Based on technical design and application experience on commercial HVAC equipment since 1960, XeteX was incorporated in 1984 to develop heat exchangers and systems appropriate for the expanding needs of commercial buildings for better indoor air quality.

As the need to design, fabricate and supply heat exchangers in the USA increased, XeteX established a plant in LaCrosse, Wisconsin where air-to-air heat exchangers are fabricated. XeteX has supplied aluminum and stainless steel flat plate exchangers made in the USA to a large variety of applications ranging from 100,000 CFM indirect evaporative coolers to 50 CFM residential ventilators and 12,000 CFM high temperature process to 4,000 CFM precooler/reheaters.

XeteX Test Labs

XeteX is not standing still - we are on the edge of significant advances in heat exchanger design and production. Already Test Labs Graphic the patent-holder on a high efficiency, double-pass heat exchanger, we have several more patents on the way. XeteX recently recieved a grant to design a more efficient Heat Exchanger. We are one of the few companies in the industry to offer performance data certified by and independent laboratory.

XeteX has installed a complete research laboratory and test facility fully instrumented to comply with ASHRAE standard 84-1991, "Method of Testing Air-to-Air Heat Exchangers." Performance tests on Heat-X-Changers by XeteX are documented by an independent test laboratory.

XeteX has also entered a joint research venture with the Center for Interfacial Engineering (CIE) and Technical Institute at the University of Minnesota to document actual exchanger performance and maximize heat and energy transfer by designing cost-efficient exchangers.

And XeteX continues to contribute to industry development by serving on the technical committee of air-to-air heat exchangers at the American Society of Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and contributing directly to writing and illustrations for ASHRAE technical publications.
