Flat Plate Heat Exchanger Lab Testing
XeteX is not standing still - we are on the edge of significant advances in
heat exchanger design and production. Already the patent-holder on a high
efficiency, double-pass heat exchanger, we have several more patents on the
way.
XeteX
currently has one of the only complete research laboratory and test facilities
fully instrumented to comply with ASHRAE Standard 84-1991, "Method of
Testing Air-to-Air Heat Exchangers." Performance tests on Heat-X-Changers
by XeteX are documented by an independent test laboratory.
In 1994, XeteX entered a joint research venture with the Center for Interfacial Engineering (CIE) and the Technical Institute at the University of Minnesota to document actual exchanger performance and apply current technology to maximize heat exchanger performance.
With the help of a grant from the National Science Foundation, XeteX is currently working with the Technical Institute at the University of Minnesota to develop the next generation of energy recovery exchangers.
And XeteX continues to contribute to industry development by serving on the technical committee of air-to-air heat exchangers at the American Society of Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and contributing directly to writing and illustrations for ASHRAE technical publications.
XeteX has a vision - to create and produce a better, more cost-effective means of increasing indoor air quality. Even today we believe XeteX produces the best air-to-air heat exchangers available - and we welcome the opportunity to help you apply them.
