XeteX offers energy recovery systems which save 60% Air Rotor Graphic to 90% of the heating or cooling energy from exhaust air. The recovered energy is transferred into the fresh, outdoor ventilation air, which is then heated or cooled to room temperature. Energy recovery products provide high indoor air quality while drastically reducing energy consumption when compared to conventional systems.

XeteX heat recovery systems come in a wide variety of packages to fit your needs. Different materials and coatings are available to adapt each product to extreme temperature or pressure applications. Products can be sized small enough to fit between building floors or large enough to walk through.

Flat Plate Heat Exchangers (PDF, 2.1 MB)
Flat Plate Heat Exchangers provide a solution primarily for heat recovery in cold climates. They are flat plate devices that transfer sensible heat from exhaust air to ventilation air through aluminum or a similar non-permeable material.

Heat Wheels (PDF, 352 KB)
Heat Wheels provide a solution for hot climates where there is a need to recover the energy expended in air conditioning. Using a desiccant (water absorbing) coating on a rotating metal wheel, heat and moisture are absorbed from the incoming hot humid outdoor air and transferred to the exhaust airstream. This can reduce the ventilation air-conditioning load by up to 90%.
